Community Council's Purpose

The purpose of the Community Council is to share in the governance of the school.  It is made up of 6 members - 4 parents, 1 teacher and 1 administrator.  Responsibilities include preparing an annual plan for the expenditure of School Land Trust funds, which average around $40,000 a year.  The council also hears concerns from parents and works toward their resolution.  Parent members are elected for a two-year term.  If you are interested in being a candidate for a council position please contact the principal.
